DESCRIPTION:The 40 days of Lent correspond to the 40 days Christ spent in the wilderness being tempted by Satan. They are also symbolic of the 40 years the Israelites spent in the wilderness on their way to the Promised Land. \nOur Lenten series this year will focus on The Wilderness.  \nWe will look at the role the wilderness played at key moments of the bible\, from Adam and Eve to the Israelites to Christ. \nThrough it all\, we will focus on God’s grace\, presence\, and provision for those who find themselves in the Wilderness.
