Every year, more than 300 people in need find the help and supportive services they need during the annual Project Connect event at St. Mark’s.

More than 250 volunteers from the community, including pastors, elected officials, and BGSU students and staff, assist visitors as they access services such as health screenings, dental care, hot meals, job assistance and mental health services.

More than 60 service providers are onsite to offer these services and items, which included haircuts, coats, hats and boots.

This community event was started locally in 2013 to serve the various needs of individuals and families who are struggling to make ends meet and who may not have stable housing. The one-day event provides hospitality and
