We know how important your children are to you. They are important to us, too! That’s why we provide families with a wide range of options to help them worship and grow in their faith together.
We understand that going places with a new baby can be stressful. That is why we offer parents several options to enable you to participate in worship, while also attending to the needs of your infants and children.
Our Family Chapel allows you and your family to watch the service in comfort, while the Mother’s Room allows mothers and infants to watch the service in comfort and privacy.
Our clean and secure Infant Nursery is open every Sunday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Children who are 6 months through crawling receive high levels of care and attention from our nurturing and qualified staff.
Children who are walking through 4 years old receive high levels of care and attention in our Toddler Nursery.
Each Sunday during the school year, Children’s Church offers young children an opportunity to learn Bible stories as as they have fun interacting with one another and the elements of worship.
Children 3 and under, along with their parents, enjoy a time of singing, dancing, praying, and reading the bible together.
Age-specific lessons capture the attention and imagination of preschoolers and Kindergarteners, while fun activities help them learn essential stories from the Bible.
During their elementary years, children experience a teaching style they can relate to while connecting with others invested in their future and faith.
Catechism class is offered each Sunday for 7th & 8th grade students who desire to affirm the promises of faith through Confirmation.
During the Sunday school hour, high school students are encouraged to actively engage in the life of the congregation by singing with the Choir or assisting the adult leaders of our younger Sunday school classes.
St. Mark’s has a robust youth group that meets on a regular basis. There are three opportunities each month to connect with the group and the community.
Campfire
On the second Sunday of each month, junior high and high school students (7th grade – 12th grade) will gather for a good ‘ol fashioned campfire. These gatherings will include a meal, a campfire, worship and devotion, and group games. We will meet from 6-8 p.m. each month. Campfire will begin on September 8, 2019!
High School Bible Study
Each month the high school students will gather for an intentional small group time. This time will be for all students in grades 9-12. We will be exploring life topics and relating them to Jesus and the Bible. Each month we will share a meal together, spend time in worship and devotion, and group building. We will meet from 6-8 p.m. on the third Sunday of each month. These gatherings will begin on Sunday, September 22, 2019.
Service and Fellowship Opportunities
Each month there will be an opportunity for either fellowship or for service. These gatherings may include a corn maze, lock-in, or ice skating; or it may be a service project for the month. Winter Retreat
We will have our first annual Winter Retreat Weekend this year! Mark your calendars for January 17-19, 2020! We will be travelling to camp to spend a weekend in the woods retreating! This weekend will also include snow tubing and other outdoor activities! This weekend retreat will be open to all youth in grades 7-12!
