Located just two blocks south of the BGSU campus, many college students choose to St. Mark’s as their preferred place of worship.

Our mid-week campus ministry provides students a small group experience that enables them to connect with fellow Christians, study God’s Word and engage in service.

St. Mark’s campus ministry is a community where you can laugh, grow, and serve with people who genuinely care about you!

Regular Opportunities

The Turquoise Table

Visit the Bowen-Thompson Student Union on Wednesdays from 12 -2 p.m. Look for the Turquoise Table! The table is a place to find community; come and eat lunch, have a one-on-one chat with Cassie, talk about life, talk about God, or just come and say hi. The Turquoise Table will begin on Wednesday, September 11, 2019.

Dinner and Discussion Night

Join us for a homecooked meal and random discussions about anything! Maybe we will chat about God. Maybe life. Maybe anything else. This is a great time to eat a healthy and nutritious meal and have discussion with other young Christians. This is the perfect way to get involved with St. Mark’s Campus Ministry. Plus, dinner is free! We will meet at 7 p.m. at St. Mark’s in the youth room.

February 7-9 – Great Lakes Gathering, Radisson Plaza Hotel at Kalamazoo Center

The Great Lakes Gathering is a welcoming community of faith focused on making an impact in the world. The community of the Great Lakes Gathering brings together groups of young adults throughout the Great Lakes region for a weekend of faith, service, and leadership. This event is designed to walk alongside participants as they connect faith and life in ways that unlock their specific gifts and interests. It is our hope that each member of the Great Lakes Gathering community becomes an agent of change in a hurting world as they experience and learn to share the radical, transformational, and countercultural love of Christ. Registration opens September 2, 2019. You can find more information at http://www.elcalivingwater.com/gathering/. If you are interested in attending please contact Cassie.

Service Opportunities

Wednesday Night Live

Wednesday Night Live is a free weekly meal for anyone in the community. Every week, more than 100 meals are served by dozens of volunteers. Education opportunities, devotions, and activities for children are also offered weekly. Volunteers are always welcome to help! There are many different ways to get involved from cooking to serving to helping with the children’s activities.

What We Believe

  • The eternal God – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – creates and sustains all that exists.
  • God’s truth is revealed to us in the Holy Bible – the only true standard of doctrine and life.
  • God entered human history in the crucified and risen savior Jesus of Nazareth.
  • We are saved by the grace of God alone through faith in Jesus Christ, who died to redeem us and give us eternal life.
  • God acts for the redemption of all creation and changes lives through the Holy Spirit.
  • We are called to make disciples and bring the hope of the gospel to all people.
  • The Apostles’ & Nicene Creeds are faithful and historic summaries of our Christian beliefs
