Robin Small
PastorPastor Robin is a native of NW Ohio and graduated from BGSU with a degree in elementary education. Over the years, she has worked in a variety of educational, church and social service organizations. Pastor Robin enjoys travel, Bible study, reading, the arts, and spending time with her family. She and her husband Tim have three children and two grandsons.
Jim Budke
Visitation PastorPastor Jim grew up in southern Indiana, received his undergraduate degree from University of Evansville, and his M.Div from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. He enjoys gardening, working in the woods behind his house, and spending lots of time with his grandchildren.
Ken Pollitz
Part-Time PastorPastor Ken Pollitz currently lives in Findlay, Ohio, though he spent the last 31 years in Ottawa, Ohio, at New Creation Lutheran Church. He recently retired as pastor there at the end of June in 2022. He looks forward to working alongside Pastor Robin and sharing in the mission and ministry of St. Mark's as a part-time interim pastor.
Mike Schroeder
Parish AdministratorMike graduated from Heidelberg University with an accounting degree. He and his wife, Amy, have a daughter, Madison. Mike has been a long time member of St. Mark's. Mike enjoys sporting events, working outside, and traveling. Mike's favorite Bible Verse is James 4:6 "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble."
Josh Billnitzer
Director of Music and CommunicationsJosh is a graduate of BGSU, holding a Bachelor of Music Education degree. He has been working with the Sunday School program since 2017, and the adult choir since the fall of 2022. Josh enjoys serving others, teaching music, and spreading the Good News onto others. He is excited to see what the future holds, and to help St. Mark's grow and thrive.
Stella DeWitt
Director of Youth and Christian EducationStella is currently finishing her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. "In this position, I will focus on guiding others down their path that God has created for them. Every person is at a different step in their journey. This is why I think it is important to meet people where they are at. I plan to implement a variety of different ministry options to allow people to dive deeper in their faith and help them in their journey. I find importance in offering a welcoming environment to everyone, to offer comfort, knowledge, and encouragement. Everyone’s journey is beautifully unique, and I am eager to have the opportunity to be a part of someone else’s journey."
Kevin McGill
OrganistKevin has been the Organist at St. Mark's since 1999, and Director of Music from 2002-2022. He earned his Master's and Bachelor's degrees in piano performance from BGSU and the University of Evansville. He enjoys learning new things, spending time in nature and sharing conversations with friends. "Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act." (Psalm 37:5)
Christy Brewster
Academy DirectorChristy has worked for over 20 years with Montessori education in various settings from preschool to 9th grade. As the Academy Director, she combines her many years of teaching and communication with her strong faith and love for Christ. Bringing her passion for teaching and her love for Christ into St. Mark's Lutheran Academy, Christy helps further the St. Mark's mission of reaching out, reaching in, and inspiring the children she teaches. "I have learned in life that God is with us no matter what may come and that if we trust in Him, things tend to work out."
Gretchen Germann
Academy TeacherGretchen is a trained Early Childhood teacher, and is our Assistant Teacher. She leads the Kindergarten Readiness Program, and is a wonderful addition to our staff. She loves working with plants, flowers, and of course our amazing students.
Marilyn Noble
TreasurerMarilyn graduated from Findlay College with an accounting degree. She is currently self-employed, managing Haskins Self-Storage and Tight Lock Storage. Her hobbies include working out, golfing, boating, and attending sporting events.
